We have spent the last two Monday evenings with an amazing group of people preparing for Saturday’s (26/9) second annual Seed Freedom Food Festival to be held at The Market Shed on Holland here in Adelaide.
Our core group of coordinators plus lots of lovely volunteers met at the Bike Kitchen for our SFFF working bees – where we painted signs using salvaged paint on recycled doors and wood.
Screen printed shirts and bags.
Made clay bowls for seed displays.
And created metres and metres of bunting from recycled fabrics.
There were people busily working everywhere, all with the same aim – to make the festival as special as possible.
And it’s not too late to volunteer to help on the day! Just contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested.
If you just want to come along to the festival then we will see you there – 10 am -4 pm, Saturday 26/9. The line-up is amazing!
